The student team which developed the new case management system for Transient Workers Count Too won two awards at their school’s IS480 Poster Day on 22 April 2015.
Team Creovate (shown above with their faculty adviser David Lo) won:
- Lien Centre award recognising best project for NGO client
- Award for the project delivering best value to its client
They were one of only two teams (out of 29 that participated in IS480 this term) that bagged two awards. Team Creovate comprises four third-year students from the School of Information Sciences at Singapore Management University (from left to right above: Myat, Xiaomeng, Su and Shoon). David Lo mentioned to TWC2 that Creovate was the only team to deploy their project by ‘midterms’– roughly the midpoint of the IS480 timeline.
TWC2 was there for Poster Day and congratulated them on their awards.
Most of them will be home soon for their long vacation. Xiaomeng, we understand, will be leaving soon for an exchange programme in Europe.
